The Project EGF/2017/003 GR-Attica retail — The Case of the companies “ELECTRONIKI ATHINON AEE” (including the company OF “SARAFIDIS S.A.”), “DIXONS SOUTH — EAST Europe AEBE”, “MEDIA SATURN”, “ELECTRONICA ELLAS COMMERCIAL AND PARTNERSHIP AEE”, “ΑΤIΝI  HONDΟS S.A.”, “BEROPOULOI BROTHERS COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL S.A.” , “METRO AEBE”, “NOTOS COM PARTICIPANTS AEBE”, “PET CITY AEBE”:

The project concerns the implementation of a group of actions related to the redundancies of the above-mentioned companies, all of the sector entitled: “Wholesale trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles” (branch of economic activity with secondary code 47 on the statistical classification of economic activities in the European Union (NACE), Rev. 2).

This project aims to support 725 redundant workers and support them for reintegration into the labour market, whether as workers or self-employed.

The project will be implemented in the following 11 Greek Regions of NUTS level 2:

EL11 — Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, EL12 — Central Macedonia , EL13 — Western Macedonia, EL14 — Thessalia, EL21 — Epirus, EL23 — Western Greece, EL24 — Continental Greece, EL25 — Peloponnese, EL30 — Attiki, EL42 — South Aegean, EL43 — Crete.

The project will run until 13th July 2019.

The total budget of the Program is EUR 4.915.250,00, from which 60 % is co-funded by the European Globalisation Fund (EGF) and 40 % by national funds of the Public Investment Programme.
